Event Liability Insurance

In order to use Stone Barn Ranch, we ask that the primary users obtain a liability insurance policy for each day of the event. These are typically inexpensive ($120-$190) and can be easily obtained by purchasing Event Insurance from an independent insurance agent.   

Please have your insurance agent take note of the following necessary provisions:

1. The policy must be for $1,000,000.00.

2. The dates covered are to include each day of the event, including set up and tear down. For Saturday weddings coverage must include Friday - Sunday. For Sunday weddings coverage must be for Saturday - Monday.

3. The names of the property owners must be shown as additional insured-lessor under the event policy. 

5. Policy must provide a waiver of subrogation.

6. If alcohol is to be served at the event, liquor liability must be included.

7. Although most caterers have their own insurance, it is no substitute for Event Insurance.

Proof of insurance is to be received by Stone Barn Ranch at least 60 days before an event.
